In 2007, Cynthia Fortin earned her diploma in health, assistance and nursing from École de formation professionnelle Compétences 2000, after which she joined the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières auxiliaires du Québec. She received the medal of merit, awarded to the top-performing student in the program. She began her career at Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal in the critical care unit.


Passionate about cheerleading and with an entrepreneurial streak, Cynthia went after her dream, starting her own business in 2008: a cheerleading gym open to the various sports associations in the area.

 

In 2012, she joined the ovo labo team, where she was promoted several times over the years. Her career path is proof of her dedication and commitment. She is a strong leader and manager with significant attention to detail, which has allowed her to move up the ranks at ovo labo to the position of assistant director. In March 2019, following an internal competition, Cynthia was promoted to PMO and supports the CEO with organizational restructuring initiatives. During this same year, she was promoted to Director of Operations of ovo labo, ovo prenatal and ovo biosurance.


In October 2020, Cynthia completed her university certificate in business administration from TÉLUQ (distance learning university).


Today, she continues to foster a stimulating, pleasant, unifying and collaborative work environment for her teams, in addition to focusing on process optimization, development and growth, all while prioritizing the patient experience.
