Dr. Marie-Hélène Racicot completed her doctorate in medicine at the Université de Montréal in 2004, followed by a specialty in obstetrics and gynecology and obtained her certificate from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2009. She then completed a subspecialty in reproductive endocrinology at the Université de Montréal from 2009 to 2011.


During her subspecialty, Dr. Racicot also completed a master's degree in Spain in Reproduccion Humana at the IVI Valencia Clinic under the supervision of the renowned Dr. Antonio Pellicer: co-founder and president of the IVI movement. At the same time, she also received advanced training in minimally invasive gynecological surgery.


Dr. Racicot was the recipient of the Award of Excellence in Laparoscopy from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL). She was a member of the Diagnostic Imaging Committee of the Society of Obstetrician Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC). In 2010, she received the 1st fellowship research prize at the annual meeting of the Association des obstétriciens et gynécologues du Québec. Dr. Racicot has presented his research projects at various international fertility congresses in the United States and Europe and is the author of a chapter on fertility preservation in women with breast cancer and optimal fertility treatment in older women.


She has special interests in fertility preservation and egg donation, and has surgical expertise in the various uterine abnormalities that can affect fertility.  Dr. Racicot has also been working for about ten years in gynecology and obstetrics at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont and Santa Cabrini University Hospital, part of the CIUSS de l'est de l'ie de Montreal. She supervises and teaches medical students, residents and fellows of the gynecology-obstetrics and subspecialty of reproductive endocrinology programs at the Université de Montreal. Dr. Racicot is fluent in French, English, Spanish and has some rudiments of Italian.
