Dr. Artak Tadevosyan serves as Scientific Director and Laboratory Head at Clinique OVO Medical Laboratory and Procrea, where he is responsible for scientific leadership, operational oversight, and end-to-end laboratory service delivery across multiple specialized diagnostic platforms. He is a board-certified Clinical Biochemist, holds a Specialist Certificate in the Province of Québec, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry.

In his role, Dr. Tadevosyan oversees clinical governance, quality management systems, regulatory and accreditation compliance, workforce competency, and laboratory operational performance, ensuring alignment with provincial and national standards and best practices. His leadership spans routine clinical diagnostics, advanced prenatal testing, and emerging specialty assays, with a clear mandate to balance clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable organizational growth.

In 2023, Dr. Tadevosyan led the launch of Québec’s first Québec-based prenatal screening laboratory offering Harmony™ testing, a major milestone for the province’s diagnostic ecosystem. This initiative significantly reduced reliance on out-of-province testing, while improving turnaround times, data governance, and continuity of care for Québec patients. It established a new local benchmark for high-quality non-invasive prenatal screening (NIPT) and contributed to strengthening provincial diagnostic autonomy and resilience.
