Internal ovo sperm bank

 

The internal clinique ovo sperm bank is made up of sperm samples from exclusively anonymous individuals, with no photos attached. This is to protect the donors, who could be at risk of crossing paths with the recipient parties, since the distribution is done locally (exclusively in Quebec). We offer a physical description as well as a description of the donor’s interests.

 

Rest assured that we take care to freeze enough samples to allow for a second and even a third pregnancy with the same choice of sperm. Please note that we must limit the number of families created with the same donor, since the distribution is done only within Quebec. This way, we avoid possible problems of consanguinity.

External sperm banks

 

It is also possible to use external banks to order sperm samples.  

You can order your sample directly with the bank. If you need help with your selection or with the order, you can contact us at donsperme@cliniqueovo.com .

 

It is important to know that your file at clinique ovo is complete; otherwise you will not be able to order a donor’s sperm sample. It is your responsibility to verify with the coordination department to make sure your file is complete.

Origin Sperm Bank

Origin Sperm Bank is Canada’s leading sperm bank offering a diverse catalogue of both Canadian and Imported donors.  As the distributor of choice, Origin’s patient coordinators will work with you to select and order your donor to help you grow your family.

Canamcryo

Canamcryo is a Canadian distributor of international sperm banks. Donor samples available for Canada have been processed according to Health Canada regulations.

Please note certain donors from these banks are part of the “OPEN ID” program. This means a child conceived through treatment with donor sperm, once they have turned 18, has the possibility of contacting the donor through the sperm bank. These samples are more expensive and if you choose an "OPEN ID" donor, you are required to sign a consent form with the company in order to access the benefits of the program.

External egg banks

 

Egg vitrification is an advanced technology that requires close and rigorous laboratory control. Eggs are very sensitive to cryopreservation conditions and for this reason clinique ovo has decided to collaborate with the best egg banks to ensure quality and maximize treatment success. We have specially trained embryologists who are approved by the egg banks for their proven egg thawing technique.

DEBUSA

Donor Egg Bank USA is one of the largest egg banks in North America. The clinique ovo is a member of the DEBUSA family of clinics which means that our patients have access to all egg donors  available in the DEBUSA bank. It also means that our laboratory is closely monitored by the DEBUSA clinical team to ensure that we provide the best possible outcomes for patients who seek eggs from this bank.

 

DEBUSA offers a wide selection of donors. However, in the case that you are unable to find a donor with suitable characteristics, we also work with another egg bank. Please note however that this bank does not offer the same programs.

Donor eggs from Fairfax egg bank are supplied in Canada through a distributor. Note that Canamcryo also distributes for other egg banks that we have access to.
