Ultrasounds
An obstetrical ultrasound is an exam that is performed during the pregnancy to insure the proper growth and well-being of the fetus. These ultrasounds are ultimately performed for medical reasons and 2 dimension (2D) imagery is privileged. A portion of the exam can be performed in 3 dimension (3D) when the baby’s position permits it.
In some cases, the baby’s gender can be visualized however this will be dependant of the fetus’s gestational age and position.
An examination report will be sent to the prescribing doctor for all ultrasounds performed at clinique ovo. Please bring your prescription with you at your appointment. Patients having their ultrasounds performed at our offices located at 8000 boul. Décarie, Montreal, 3141 boul. Taschereau, Greenfield Park or 1000 Montée des Pioniers, Terrebone will receive a USB key with photos and possibly a short video sequence.
