Untitled Document NEW INCOME TAX CREDIT FOR INFERTILITY TREATMENT

Dear clients, the OVO clinic would like to inform you that the government of Quebec, in its Budget 2008-2009, has decided to increase the income tax credit reimbursable for infertility treatment. More specifically, from the 2008 tax year, the Quebec government has planned a tax credit increase from 30% to 50% for infertility treatment, such as in vitro fertilisation and the costs associated with artificial insemination. Furthermore, in association with the federal tax system that means that more than 60% of admissible fees will be reimbursed.
